Sorry for my extended absence from my blog. Life kinda got in the way and November was just a busy busy month.
My family and I went on a vacation to Singapore for 10 days and when we got back, I had to play catch up on all my club, workshop and UStamp commitments.
So, while I've been gone from the blogging world, I've made a few projects. One of which is my UStamp project and here is the sneak peek for that:
1st Ustamp project:
If you would like to see the tutorial for this project, all you have to do is visit the Ustamp site and register for the event "Get a Jump on Your Jingle, Holiday Papercrafting 2010". There are over 40+ awesome tutorials for you to enjoy.
Tomorrow, I will be posting my 2nd Ustamp project so watch out for it.
Sorry I have been neglecting my blog lately but I've been really busy and haven't had time to take pictures for the blog. Today, I want to show you a card I am making with my club members this coming month. I already made it with my Stamp Club members yesterday and they really liked it. It was fun to make. I love love love this Santa from the Jolly Old Saint Nick Stamp set.
I got the idea of the card from Becky Roberts (a fellow Stampin' Up Demonstrator) and just changed it up a little bit with the paper and ribbon and I used the Tasteful Trim Bigz XL Die for the Big Shot to put on top of the card. I also used the Teeny Tiny Wishes for the sentiment.
I will post the 3D item tomorrow so watch out for it! Have a great day!
My other set of cards was just featured on the UStamp With Dawn and Friends...Cards with Cool Moves 2010 this morning. It is a Middle Reveal Slider that holds a gift card. Perfect for birthday presents!
You can get a step by step tutorial on this on a PDF by registering at the UStamp website along with 40 other great set of Moving Cards that will sure inspire you!
Whew! That was quite a long title! I am so excited to be designing again for the next round of UStamp With Dawn and Friends. This next round is called Get a Jump on Your Jingle...Holiday Papercrafting Edition 2010! This event will run from November 12th to December 1stand Early Bird Pricing of $19.95 US is now open…until October 15th when the price will go to $24.95 US. So, if you are as excited as I am, register nowand don't miss out on all the fun! This is going to be a magical holiday event that you do NOT want to miss!!!
“Get A Jump On Your Jingle” will give you all the inspiration you will need to help you create all your papercrafting gifts, Stamping classes and camps and make your celebrations extra extra special. No need to stress over the hustle and bustle of trying to create last minute Holiday Gifts…Get A Jump On Your Jingle and sit back an relax when the Holidays arrive!!!
Color Combo’s ROCK…Why change a REALLY GREAT thing, right??!! Well, for the Holiday event we will still include the Color Combo with each project however, we will need to tweak it just a little bit and allow for a few overlaps. 40 Different color combos is just impossible for the Holiday Theme. No worries tho!! The Designers are thinking “outside the color combo box” to come up with some extordinary color combos…just not 40 different ones. I know you will agree that 40 projects with 40 coordinating cards & envelopes in 20 days, with NO REPEATS including with PDFS, will definitely help you Get A Jump On Your Jingle!!!
Now, for the good part....I am offering a FREE PASS to ONE LUCKY BLOG READER!!! All you need to do is become a follower and then write a comment letting me know what is your favorite Holiday Stamp Set from Stampin' Up. I am excited to offer my Holiday Planner Class on October 14 (Thursday) at 5:00 p.m. I will announce the place in the next couple of days. I will try to get a Rec Room so we can have a lot of room to spread out and will let you know ASAP.
This Holiday Planner comes with a Monthly Calendar for October, November & December with a To Do List for each month. On the second slot, it has a Gift Check List so you could list people's names and put a check mark after you're done with that person's gift. The third slot has a Christmas Card List with Name and Address for each person on your list and a check mark for "Sent" and "Rec'd". On the Fourth Slot are a couple of envelopes to keep Receipts and Coupons.
The fee for the class is $15 and that includes everything you need to make this Holiday Planner. All you need to bring is yourself! I will also provide some drinks and snack for all that will attend. I will be limiting the number of sign ups to 10 people so that I can attend to each person in finishing this project. So, if you are thinking about signing up, do not wait, sign up now to secure your spot! This project is easy to re-create and you can use it as gifts too.
Each student will also receive free Christmas pocket planner pages from http://christmas.organizedhome.com. Their free calendar pages and gift lists will make it easy to stock your Holiday Planner with Christmas planning forms.
If you would like to make more than 1 Holiday Planner, I will also offer a Take Home kit for only $12. This price is only good if you signed up for the class. If you would like a Take Home Kit, please let me know at the time you sign up so that I can prepare it for you.

To sign up, please send me an e-mail at firstname.lastname@example.org with your name and phone number for me to call you to arrange for payment of the Class Fees.
Here is a quick Christmas Card I made last night. It took about 20 minutes to make it. I really liked the way it turned out. It was the first time I tried using the Northern Flurry Embossing Folder and I really love the way it pops. I knew I wanted to use some bling on it and I originally just wanted one for each of the snowflakes but I couldn't help myself and I kept going and going. The color combo is Real Red and Marina Mist. I used markers to color in the snowman. I also used Real Red Classic Ink for the Sentiment.
Here is another angle of the card and a little close up so you can see more detail of the embossing...
Hope you are all having a great weekend! Tomorrow, I will be posting some information about a class I will be offering next month so stay tuned!
I wanted to use the 2 Step Bird Punch to make a card. I got the color combo from the Greenhouse Gala Designer Paper that I used here. I inked up the bird with Marina Mist and used the Basic Black marker for the bird's eye and beak.
Just 2 more days and UStamp with Dawn & Friends Cards with Cool Moves 2010 will be Live! I can't wait. It will be so much fun!
Hope you are all having a wonderful week. See you soon...
First of all, I would like to thank all of you who joined my very first Blog Candy to be entered to win a FREE PASS for the UStamp with Dawn and Friends "Cards with COOL Moves...2010". I am so excited for this event and I'm sure you will have lots of fun with all the projects.
I picked the winners in a very old fashioned way. I wrote your names on paper and had my daughter draw a couple of names to be the winners.
I will forward your e-mail addresses to Dawn with Ustamp and you should receive an invitation e-mail from her by the 24th of September. If for some reason, you don't receive an e-mail, please let me know so I can check on it.
Again, thank you so much and Congratulations to the winners!
This is the give-away I give my customers when they come to a workshop. Every time they place an order of $50 or more, they get to pick what they want as a thank you gift from me. The post-it note I put in it is 2x3 inches and I put 25 pieces of post-its per keychain. I use my crop-a-dile to punch the hole. For the base of the keychain, I cut a 4 1/8" x 3" cardstock then I score it at 2" and again at 2 1/8". I attach the post-it note with snail adhesive and decorate the front. I also put ribbon on the ring as a final touch.
Here are more close up pictures of each keychain...

As you can see, this is my very first blog post. Due to insistent public demands (hahahaha), I have decided to start my own crafty blog where I can post everything crafty I make. I have been reluctant to start one because I wasn't sure how much I can keep up with it so hopefully, I can post here regularly. I can't promise to post something every day but I will try my best to post at least a couple of times a week. Most of the items I will be posting here will be from Stampin' Up. I will list the recipes for them and if you have questions on how I made them, please feel free to ask questions.
So, in anticipation of my first blog post, I made a set of cards last night. I'm not sure yet if it will be a class or a workshop project but I had lots of fun making it. I got the idea of the cards from our Stampin' Up Demonstrator Exclusive website and thought I'd re-create it with my own twist.
