Thanksgiving Wreath

Today's project is a labor of love.  My friend and I got together to re-create the wreath from the Holiday Mini Catalog and what we thought was an easy project to do, turned out to be a 4 day project, well, at least 4 hours per day.  I love love love the way it turned out though and I am glad that I had a friend to craft with while making this project because I probably would have given up finishing it if I was doing it by myself.

Like I said on my last post, I have been using the Spice Cake Designer Series Paper a lot lately and this is another project made with it.  I think this is the first time I have used a DSP this much.  I usually just hoard them :-)

Of course I had to put my own touch to my wreath so I put some butterflies all over it.  I really love the way it turned out.  I hope you do too!

Simply Scored Class

Last month, I offered my customers a deal for a Simply Scored Class.  If they bought the Simply Scored from me, the class fee was only for $5 (just to cover supplies) but if they weren't interested in buying the Simply Scored and still wanted to take the class, the fee was $12.  I had a few people take me up on my offer and today I want to share with you the cards that we made at the class.

I am currently IN LOVE with the Spice Cake Designer Series Paper from the Holiday Mini Catalog and I just can't stop using it.  I am also loving the Pool Party and Soft Suede colors.  I think they are soooo pretty!  I got the card idea with the Dahlia Fold from Stampin' Connection and the step cards were my original design.  The Step Cards are 3x3 cards and having the Simply Scored Tool just made it soooo easy to make.  I also used a whole lot of Basic Pearls for these cards.  They just made the cards look a little more elegant.

Supplies Used For This Project:

Paper: Pool Party, Soft Suede, Pear Pizzazz, More Mustard, Very Vanilla Cardstock and Spice Cake Designer Series Paper

Ink:  Pool Party, Soft Suede and More Mustard

Accessories:  Simply Scored Scoring Tool, Big Shot Machine, Finial Press Embossing Folder, Paper Cutter, Modern Label Punch, Word Window Punch, 1" Circle Punch, 3/4" Circle Punch, 1 3/4" Circle Punch, 1/2" Circle Punch, Circle Punch from the Itty Bitty Shapes Punch Pack, Victoria 5/8" Crochet Trim Ribbon, Basic Pearls, Multipurpose Liquid Glue, Snail Adhesive and Stampin' Dimensionals
