UStamp Oh My Word! Design Team Scavenger Hunt for Members

Today, I am participating in the
Oh My Word!! Design Team Scavenger Hunt for OMW Members! You have to find a "key word" in my post today along with the other hidden words in the participating Designer posts. Once you visit all the blogs you must unscramble the words to make a sentence.  You will then send this sentence to Dawn and the first 3 members that email Dawn with the correct answer will win a handcrafted prize.

After the Scavenger Hunt, I will be giving away a Free Pass to Oh My Word Event to one person who has never been a member before.  So, if you have been wanting to join in on all the fun at this event, this is your chance.  All you have to do is leave me a comment on this post to let me know that you want to be entered along with your e-mail address so I can let you know if you are the lucky winner.  The winner will be announced on Monday, Feb. 21st.

With that said, I would like to share with you today a card that I had made for our Oh My Word Swap Around the World.  I used the stamp set Bliss which you can get for free with the Sale-a-bration promo going on for every $50 you spend.  I also used my key word is... "100%"   Stampin' Up products for this card.  I hope you enjoy it!

Happy Valentine's Day!

Happy Valentine's Day Everyone!

Hope you are all enjoying your Valentine's Day there in the US.  For us here in Japan, Valentine's Day is over.  We had a great snowy Valentine's this year.  I woke up this morning to find my favorite flowers, Tulips,  waiting for me on top of my dining table next to another vase full of roses for my daughter from my husband and my son!  It was a great way to start my day.  Then we went to Chili's for dinner with the family.  It wasn't even snowing yet when we got there but by the time we left, the parking lot was already covered with snow.

Today, I want to share with you a card that I made for the Open House I did a couple of weeks ago to launch the Sale-a-bration.  I offered a free class and 11 great crafty ladies came to make the card.

Sophia's Valentine's Day Cards

My daughter Sophia wanted to make her Valentine's Day Cards for her class this year instead of buying the pre-made ones.  So, of course I ended up "helping" her with them which really means, I made the cards and she wrote their names and her name on them!

So, here are the 19 cards we made....

Valentine's Day Layout

Sorry I haven't posted in a while.  I've been crazy busy lately and haven't had time to take pictures of the projects I've been making but today, I made myself take some so I can post new things in the next few days.

Today's project that I want to share with you is a Valentine's Day layout that I made for my last workshop last Sunday.  It was actually my first scrapbook workshop and I was a bit nervous since 17 people RSVP'd they were coming so I had to punch out all those hearts for each of the expected attendees (12 hearts X 17 = 204).  Whew!  That was a lot!  I met a few new people at the workshop and I had so much fun.

I had asked my husband to pick out the picture that he wants me to put on this layout and he picked this one.  I plan on putting it in a 12 x 12 frame and displaying it in our home.  I found the inspiration for this layout from Stampin' Connection.  I think the hardest part in making this layout was doodling around the page.  I am not a doodler and I was so scared that I would mess it up but it wasn't so bad once I had started doing it.  I just had to remind myself that it doesn't have to be perfect.  I popped up the glittered heart with dimensionals and the "We're Good Together" sentiment.  I also popped up our picture with dimensionals.
